Director Emeritus Dr. Mizukami has been working in cancer care for 50 years. He has visited medical facilities around the world and interacted with doctors at medical facilities in Europe, the United States, Australia, Southeast Asia, and other places, and has come to realize just how far behind Japan's cancer care is.

It is true that the standard of medical care is high and comparable to that of Europe and the United States, but complementary medicine is hardly accepted. Even in the United States, MD Anderson Cancer Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center have integrative medicine departments in their outpatient departments, and it is common to see efforts to boost the immunity of cancer patients. However, in Japan's public cancer hospitals, this is hardly happening.

Our clinic offers evidence-based cutting-edge, standard and complementary medicine, proposing the best combination for each patient with the highest chance of a cure while respecting the values and wishes of each patient.
